Which ones most people use
A sole trader adds the self-employment pages. A landlord adds the UK property pages. Someone who sold shares or a second home adds the capital gains summary, and an employee adds the employment page for each job.
gov.uk groups them by taxpayer type (for example employment or residence) and by type of income, deduction or relief (for example property, foreign or capital gains).
Check the version for the tax year
The forms and their notes are updated every tax year, so use the versions for the year you are filing. The list above matches the tax year that ended on 5 April 2026. SA110 is the tax calculation page, which online filing and software work out from the figures you enter.
